A woman accused of forging a man’s will after his death was yesterday released on $200,000 bail at the Georgetown Magistrates Court.
It is alleged that on April 27, in Georgetown, Lilowattie Lall, 49, of Brickery, East Bank Demerara, forged the last will and testimonial of Mohamed Ali.
Lall pleaded not guilty to the charge, when she appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
No details further details were provided to the court and the case was adjourned until December 14.
