A fourth former of the Brickdam Secondary school was this morning attacked in the Stabroek Market area by a mentally challenged man who was later badly beaten by public spirited persons.
The child and his attacker are both receiving treatment at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The details surrounding the incident are sketchy but this newspaper was told that the man hit the teen twice in his head with a piece of wood.
Persons nearby who witnessed the attack rushed to the child’s aid, badly beating the man in the process.
