A man who allegedly cut his sister with a knife during a row was yesterday released on self bail when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
Terrence Fraser of Lot 12 Princes and Camp streets pleaded not guilty to unlawful assault causing actual bodily harm when the charge was read to him by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry in Court 1.
Police Prosecutor Kerry Botswick said that on November 17, Fraser and his sister Doris Fraser got into a misunderstanding, which led Fraser to arming himself with a knife and allegedly cutting his sister’s hand.
No further particulars were related about the case.
The matter will continue on December 14 in Court 1.
