Boat captain Ramkissoon Sukhan called ‘Greenie,’ whose body was found on Monday at the Eversham foreshore on the Corentyne, died as a result of drowning.
This was the finding of a post-mortem examination on his remains yesterday.
Sukhan, who had been missing for about three weeks after an alleged pirate attack during which he was shot, his three co-workers who survived the attack had claimed. However, no gunshot wound was found on the man’s body during the post-mortem examination, his son, Ramlall Sukhan said.
