The quarterfinals of the Guinness Greatest of the Streets Competition scheduled to kick off tonight has been postponed to tomorrow night at the same venue.
In a press release, organisers said the postponement was due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Tomorrow night Leopold Street will tackle Hope Street Tiger Bay, Broad Street B will take on Sophia B, Back Circle will face East Front Road and West Front Road will go up against Queen Street, Tiger Bay.
Defending champions Back Circle and seven other teams are battling for bragging rights and the $600,000 first prize.
Four exhibition games will also be played: Oasis versus Media, Sweet Hand against YMCA, Upper Level Barbershop tackling Banks DIH Limited and Guinness Bar against Clippers Barbershop.
Kick off time is 7.30pm.
