The prosecution and the defence in the Dwayne Jordan murder trial made their closing arguments before Justice Navindra Singh in the High Court yesterday.
Jordan is accused of hacking his common-law wife Claudine Rampersaud to death on June 14, 2007 at Den Amstel, West Coast Demerara.
The prosecution is being led by Konyo Thompson and Renita Singh, who addressed the judge and jury after which defence counsel Nigel Hughes made his closing arguments.
Tomorrow, Justice Singh will sum up the evidence that was presented to the court before he hands over the case to the 12-member jury for deliberation.
