Over 200 children from the lower East Bank Demerara were entertained at Eccles Primary School, where the Demerara Oxygen Company (DOCOL) recently hosted its Annual Children’s Christmas party.
Human Resources Supervisor Natasha Paray Fitzpatrick said that the party forms part of the company’s annual Christmas activities and catered for the less fortunate children in Eccles, Agricola, Mc Doom and Houston, , a press release from DOCOL stated.
She also said that this is one way of giving back to the communities in close proximity of their Eccles operations and that they are pleased to host the children, who look forward to a grand party and toys.
This was the second Christmas party hosted by the Neal and Massy Group as Associated Industries Limited (AINLIM) hosted their party at the N&S Group Staff facilities at Ruimveldt for approximately 260 less fortunate children residing in Yarrow Dam, Meadow Bank, Riverview and West Ruimveldt, the release added.
