Among the many admirable qualities in mankind, probably the most galvanizing is the willingness to say, “I was wrong.” An individual delivering those words, without equivocation, is displaying a degree of maturity and courage in that admission that is very rare. Ironically the more prominent the individual, the higher up the ladder he or she goes, the admission is even more of a rarity – perhaps because in those circumstances the person has more to lose.
In a wonderful recent film on Ethel Kennedy, produced by her daughter Rory, the wife of the revered Bobby Kennedy, from the famed political Kennedy family of the USA, made specific mention of this
