More than 1500 children between the ages of 1 to 16 were yesterday given gifts which were presented to them by Santa Claus in front of the Game Express Store on North Road.
Scores of parents with their children were seen lined up from the Game Express Store to the corner of the Candy Store on North Road waiting to have a picture with Santa and a present.
Proprietor of the Game Express Store, Audie Henrique said that the exercise is a yearly one but last year’s was not held.
Henrique also stated that it was a combined effort between Kids First Fund and the Store. He related to this newspaper that the presents which started to be wrapped since November include educational toys and books for children.
“People with their children were lined up since seven this morning and the line was much longer but every child will have a gift before the day is out” Henrique said.
