Coach of Winners Connection Orin Trotman said yesterday that despite their late invitation to the tournament they are playing to win the tournament.
According to him, it was difficult putting a team together as a result of the late invitation but the players are working well together.
The players, he said, are motivated to train harder and play hard also because of the lucrative prizes up for grabs.
Meanwhile, Major said that while the second match of last Sunday was disrupted because of a blackout. He said play resumed when the lights came back on.
“Can’ say if the blackout was an act of God or man, but we have been doing this for 23 years and we are fighting to make it,” was his caustic comment.
