Miner Steffon Francis went missing from his Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara two months ago and his mother is seeking the help of the public to find him.
Maylene Prince told Stabroek News that her son became delirious after he was infected with malaria when he was working in the interior.
Francis, 21, was under treatment at the time he went missing, she said, while adding that he was being watched closely for signs of delirium. On October 20, she left him home alone and when she returned later that evening from work, she saw that he was missing.
Reports have been made to the police and Prince is asking anyone knowing the whereabouts of her son to contact his family at 688-3898, 643-4717 or the nearest police station.
