BRISBANE, Australia, CMC-West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach was among the wicket takers as his team Brisbane Heat scored an upset win over Melbourne Stars in the Australian Big Bash League yesterday.
Roach grabbed one wicket and took a catch as the heat beat the stars by 24 runs at the Gabba.
Brisbane Heat stumbled but recovered to post a respectable 171 for 5 in their 20 overs while Melbourne Stars replied with 147 for 9 of 20 overs.
The Barbadian pacer uprooted the stumps of James Faulkner for 18 and finished with figures of 4 overs , no maidens, 23 runs, 1 wicket.
Roach was also active on the field and caught Rob Quiney for 10 after he tried going after Alister Mcdermott.
