Republic Bank welcomed the first born babies of the New Year  Republic Bank welcomed the first born babies of the New Year by distributing $40,000 Republic RightStart Baby Care Hampers in Georgetown, Anna Regina, Linden and Berbice. In a press release the bank said this annual initiative is in keeping with its mission and core value of customer focus while supporting and maintaining the communities it serves. Mothers of 2013 first born babies were also given RightStart Gift Certificates valued $20,000 each to be used to establish bank accounts for the newborns.
