The New Amsterdam Secondary School was last evening adjudged the winner of the National Song Festival. The Government Information Agency said that the festival sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport at the National Cultural Centre saw the participation of choirs from Regions 4, 5, 6, and 10.
The main objective of the festival launched in November 2011 is the resuscitation of choral singing.
