Twelve nights of programmes for Eid Milad un Nabi at the Anna Catherina Islamic Complex (ACIC) for the month of the birth of the Prophet, commenced on January 12 and ends on January 24.
On Friday January 18, 2013 from 18:00-20:00hrs, the Guyana United Sadr Islamic Anjuman will be screening the documentary “The Blessed Tree – the only living Sahabi” at the ACIC.
The documentary will be shown on a large screen and will have special explanations provided by Shaikh Safraz Bacchus during the screening, a release from the organisation said. The film is based on the Blessed Tree in Jordan, the living tree where over 1400 years ago a Makkan caravan paused for shade and where the Christian monk Bahira met young Prophet Muhammad, then 12 years old.
