A mother is searching for her 16-year-old son who went missing on Sunday night following a birthday party in Bel Air, East Coast Demerara.
Savitri Persaud told Stabroek News yesterday that her son, Andrew Budhu never returned from a birthday party he had left home to attend.
The woman said that Budhu had left his Lot 90 Enterprise Garden home around 20:00 hours that evening. She said that she had called her son again around nine o’clock and asked to speak to the parent of the child who was hosting the party. She said that her son began to act suspiciously when she had asked and quickly told her that he had left his friend’s house and was returning home.
Persaud said that since that night she has not heard anything from her son and every attempt to contact his phone failed. She said that she made a report to the Vigilance Police Station and was told that they were doing their best to find the boy. Budhu’s mother is asking if anyone knows about his whereabouts to contact her. The boy was last seen wearing a black tee-shirt and a pair of white pants. The numbers are: # 6179946 and #2310616
