The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Hadi’s World Incorporated (City Mall) first division two-day cricket competition resumes this weekend with the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) playing Gandhi Youth Organization (GYO) at Camp Ayanganna.

In the Noble House Seafoods second division two-day competition, GYO will host the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC), who were victorious at the very venue last weekend.
GCC’S Winston Forrester scored 69 and took three wickets for just four runs in GCC’s defeat of Malteenoes Sports Club and, as MVP of the first division competition last year; he will be a key player with both bat and ball for his team.
The University Of Guyana (UG) will be hosted by DCC in a rematch since UG eliminated DCC in the semi final of last year’s competition by virtue of securing first innings points in the drawn encounter. DCC will be keen to avenge that result on home turf when the side’s meet this weekend.
