Dear Editor,
Augeus, the mythical king of Elis, kept great stables that held 3,000 oxen and had not been cleaned for thirty years when Hercules was assigned the job. Hercules cleaned the stables by causing two rivers to run through them.
Georgetown, the unique Augean Caribbean stable is a must-see Caribbean tourist destination of filth, administered by the descendants of two continents. Cleaning this stable will need, not two rivers, but a two-continental, Herculean objective allegiance to the city.
Yours faithfully,
Patrick J Gomes
