The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Company is getting set for its biggest jingle and song competition this year with bigger lights, props and venues.
GT&T is teaming up with some of the biggest names in local production such as Hits and Jams (HJ) Entertainment, Video Mega, Spotlight Production, Artistic Production and DtShaka Production to give participants and viewers an unforgettable experience.
In a press release, HJ Entertainment said venues have been booked countrywide for initial auditions and for the beginning categories of the competition. HJ Entertainment is also teaming up with GT&T to highlight some of the country’s most beautiful hideaways and at the same time discover fresh, raw talent.
The grand finale is set for May 11 at the National Cultural Centre. Fans and supporters can look forward to a grand event with a blue carpet arrival and a pre-show at the entrance. “There, patrons can look out for the cameras and even share their expectations for the night while being judged on their overall appearance,” the release said, adding that those judged best dressed will take home a special prize.
“Also, with the return of judges Gordon Moseley, Charmaine Blackman, Sean Bhola and Joel Ghansham fans are guaranteed a fun-packed show,” the release said. Nuriyyih Gerrad will host the event.
