Three matches have been scheduled for this weekend when the Georgetown Cricket Association/Noble House Seafoods second division two-day competition continues in Georgetown.
Two matches will be played in Zone A and one in Zone B.
At the Gandhi Youth Organisation ground, Everest Cricket Club will play against Police Sports Club while in the other Zone A match Third Class will meet Vikings at the YMCA ground.
In Zone B the 2011-2012 finalists University of Guyana (UG) will be hosted by the Muslim Youth Organization. In their last match UG claimed first innings points in a drawn encounter with DCC.
Matches begin at 10:30 am on both days.
Meanwhile playing at the Muslim Youth Organization ground (MYO) last weekend, Police beat Vikings by an innings and 96 runs.
Police scored 219 in 48.1 overs batting first and the Vikings, in reply, were bowled out for 67 in 23 overs giving Police a 152-run lead. Trevor Benn and Randolph Knights bowled all 23 overs unchanged capturing 5 for 39 and 5 for 28 respectively. Following on Vikings fared even worse, being bowled out for 56 in 16 overs. Pernell London took 3 for 9, S. Agard 2 for 4 and Knights 2 for 7. Knights finished with match figures of 7-35 in 15 overs.
