However, with the likes of last year’s most successful cyclist, Robin Persaud who won 15 races, national cyclsists ,Marlon Williams, Geron Williams, Enzo Matthews, Paul De Nobrega and Raynauth Jeffrey, among others, Greaves will have his hands full.
2012 Juvenile gold medalist at the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships, Michael Anthony will look to make a repeat of the victory he had in the Juveniles race in 2012, while the experienced Junior Niles is the defending champion of the Veterans Under-50 event.
Mohamed said his aim in 2013 is to surpass the 37 events he staged last year, he however stated that feat can only occur through solid support from corporate Guyana.
The national coach said companies and individuals have been very generous in sponsoring events under his purview over the years, but added that more sponsorship will mean additional avenues for the riders to showcase their talents.
Representatives of Ricks and Sari Agro Industries are expected to be on hand to assist in the presentation of prizes to the top performers.
