Just over a week after a mentally unstable man was allegedly beaten to death by residents of the Canterbury Walk, Beterverwagting community, a senior police official said that no one has since been arrested in connection with the killing.
It was previously reported that on January 16, Jermaine Hamilton, 37, allegedly attacked a police officer who was on duty in the community with a cutlass.
It was further stated that after the commotion, villagers intervened and Hamilton was beaten to death.
