Agriculture Minister Dr Leslie Ramsammy was earlier today admitted to the Georgetown Hospital after he collapsed while at his office.
The Georgetown Hospital this afternoon confirmed the hospitalization but would only say that his condition is being closely monitored.
Well-placed source however said that he collapsed while at work and at the time he appeared exhausted.
Dr. Ramsammy, a former Health Minister, has an existing heart condition which resulted in a pacemaker being implanted.
