A four-year-old boy was earlier this afternoon stabbed to death by his stepfather.
Jamal Maranjan of Lot 19 Buck Hill died at the Linden Hospital Complex moments after a knife was pulled from his chest. The knife, this newspaper understands, was plunged into the child’s back and pierced his chest. Hospital officials said the child also had lacerations on his knees and both legs.
From the reports this newspaper received the child was left alone with the stepfather who is an abuser of drugs.
Police are investigating.
