The Milo U20 schools football competition will continue today and tomorrow at the Ministry of Education Ground Carifesta Avenue beginning at noon.
Keen to impress, the precocious talents will recommence physicality as they seek to astonish, entertain and illustrate their tactical and technical acumen when the opening whistle sounds. They players will be eager to illustrate the hunger and drive of aspiring Golden Jaguars, as they clearly set their sights on the prize, battling for supremacy and school bragging rights in the first such annual competition. Kicking off the proceedings at 12:00 hrs will be Charlestown Secondary against Christ Church Secondary to be followed by Ascension battling North Georgetown Secondary at 14:00 hrs.
Closing the schedule of the day will be a clash of heavyweight proportions as tournament favourites Tucville Secondary and their offensive juggernaut led by Kiefer Brandt, Dorwin Filters, Roland Mayers and Kevin Andrews engage the always dangerous St. George’s Secondary and their triumvirate of Royston Dublin, Sean Taylor and Quincy Caryll in a pulsating knockout round dress rehearsal at 16:00 hrs.
