Dear Editor,
Once upon a time it was our character which defined us and later I would add our status in the world of work. It was not even our little savings or where we lived. Today, with money abundant from dubious sources wealth cannot be factored into the equation. The schools which were run by the churches lacked the violence reported today. The mansions we see do not represent the character we would tend to associate with in the old days. In short, our money or assets should be excluded as a definitive indicator of our character.
Yours faithfully,
