A porter was on Wednesday placed on $20,000 bail after he denied assaulting another man.
It was alleged that on February 17, at 64 Duncan Street, Campbellville, Quacy Sealey, 24, unlawfully assaulted Andre Samuels.
Sealey pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The prosecution did not object to him being granted bail and his bail was set at $20,000.
His matter will be called again on March 14 at Court 10.
