The 25 year-old teacher who was hit in the head with a table top is now recovering; a CT-scan has shown brain improvement, her husband said.
Michelle Richards had received a blow to the head with a table top as she entered a class at the Wisburg Secondary one month ago.
Richards’s husband, Rawle Johnson told Stabroek News yesterday that his wife is now home receiving treatment and is recovering. She is able to sleep at night, he added.
Richards was rushed to the Mackenzie Hospital on February 4 after the incident and a CT-scan done then had revealed that she sustained a fractured skull. She had later experienced long-term headaches and vomiting.
Richards also sustained injuries to her shoulder and right arm.
