Guard chopped man accused of stealing his bike -court hears

A security guard was yesterday accused of chopping a man who he claimed stole his bicycle.

Zaman Deen, 47, was refused bail and remanded to prison when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm.  Deen pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him by Magistrate Judy Latchman.
