The National Sports Commission All Age Group badminton tournament will conclude Friday following semi-final action on Monday at the Queen’s College courts.
In one of two finals played on Monday Narayan Ramdhani defeated Omri Joseph in the boys U17 division 21-2, 21-1. Ramdhani had earlier defeated Cecil Abrams 21-19, 21-0.
In the U-17 girls singles final Priyanna Ramdhani defeated Ambika Ramraj21-15, 21-14.
In the semi-finals Priyanna Ramdhani defeated Nadine Jairam 21-9, 21-11 while Ramraj got the better of Arian Kayume in a tough three setter 21-18, 16-21, and 21-17.
In the Under 15 boys singles Jonathan Mangra defeated Ajave Singh 21-15, 21-13 to book a spot in the final against Omari Joseph who defeated Jonathan Mangra 14-21, 21-13, 21-18 in the other semi-final. In the U21 semi-finals Nicholas Ali defeated Avinash Odit 21-10, 21-11 while in the other semi-final Narayan Ramdhani defeated Abrams: 21-8, 21-9.
