The Chairman of the Police Complaints Authority, former Chancellor of the Judiciary, Cecil Kennard will be making his first visit for the year to the Essequibo Coast for three days from tomorrow. Residents are encouraged to take the opportunity to air their concerns and complaints about the functioning of the Guyana Police Force.
According to a press release from the Authority, Justice Kennard will meet members of the Guyana Police Force at the Richard Faikall Police College at Suddie from 13:30 hrs on Friday March 8.
Later Friday at 19:00 hrs he will appear on the RCA TV station to explain his role and functions.
On Saturday, March 9th he will be available in the boardroom of the Regional Democratic Council, Anna Regina from 09:00 hrs to meet members of the public.
