The police this morning conducted cordon and search operations in Georgetown and found 172 lbs of compressed marijuana in three cars.
A release from the police said that in an operation in Norton Street the law enforcers found a total of 78 kilograms of compressed marijuana concealed in the trunks of three motor vehicles at a residence.
One man and three women were arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations, the police said.
The motor vehicles have been seized by the police.
