Dear Editor,
It was a fine thing that Mr Paul Tennassee did to pen a letter that eulogized the late Wendell P. George. (Letters, SN, March 8, 2013)
I came to know Mr George over more re-cent years and knew him to be a true patriot.
He was an independent thinker and was always on the side of what was best for
Guyana. He was most passionate about his views and that always made for lively
discussions.
He will be missed and, not least, in these very letters columns.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
