Bryan Singh was released on $60,000 bail yesterday after he denied assaulting another man. It is alleged that on March 8, at Broad Street, Charlestown, Singh assaulted Treion James.
He pleaded not guilty when he appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court. Police Prosecutor Renetta Bentham stated that the accused dealt James two lashes to his back with a length of wood.
Bentham did not object to Singh being admitted to bail and the case was adjourned until March 19.
