Mae’s School has now been roped into Alpha United’s youth programme.
This was disclosed yesterday by Alpha youth coach Mark Charles at a press briefing on Farnum Ground.
Coach Charles, while in the process of drilling his new charges, stated “the initiative is being made through Alpha United for the development and evolution of the sport and that the incorporation of the Mae’s school will serve as the beginning of the youth structure that the club envisions”.
He further stated that the intention of the project is to help facilitate the development of a youth programme for the club and to assist in helping the school to be known as a football establishment.
“The hope and aspiration of this programme is for the club to become a force in the youth division in the not so distant future through the incorporation of the Mae’s school, as well as for the school to be known as a football institution”, Charles said.
