Two of the five persons who were rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital on Thursday after an accident near Buckhall, Essequibo River have been discharged.
The two men were said to be fit to be released from the hospital while the other three were listed as being in stable conditions.
The men were among other persons who were involved in an accident after the truck they were traveling in attempted to swerve from another truck.
Injured were Handel Thom, 23, of Nabaclis, East Coast; Charles Smithet, 58, of Kuru Kuru, Soesdyke Highway and his son Trevor Smithet, 42; Ashford Jacobs, 40; Eton Bazilio 37-years-old of Kuru Kuru; Ryan Fitzpatrick; Ravindra Ramprashad, 34, and Brian Franklyn, 49, of Land of Canaan; Frederick Ashe, 47, of Madewini and Tyrone (only name given).
Some of the men were taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital while others were at the West Demerara Regional Hospital.
