The Demerara Volleyball Association in collaboration with Kitana Travel Service will stage a one day tournament for third division teams in Demerara today at the National Gymnasium.
Andrea Flores, managing director of Kitana Travel Service and a former national player, said that they are fully behind the tournament.
The tournament will be played in a round robin format in two groups.
Teams tipped to participate in this competition are Young Achievers, Castrol Strikers, Lusignan, Park Rangers, School Of Agriculture and University Of Guyana.
A few junior ladies teams are expected to compete as well.
The first game spikes off at 10:00am sharp.
