Newly installed Ambassador of Portugal to Guyana, Mario Alberto Lino da Silva, said his country is looking forward to a mutually beneficial partnership with Guyana, particularly in the area of information technology and renewable energy where it possesses a great deal of expertise.
Da Silva made these disclosures after he presented his Letters of Credence to President Donald Ramotar, at a ceremony held on Monday at the Office of the President, a report from GINA said.
The ambassador said despite the economic turmoil and a strict programme of structural reforms, Portugal is looking forward to fertile relations with Guyana.
