Dear Editor,
Please grant me space in your newspaper to kindly ask someone in authority at GWI or the Ministry of Housing and Water to please look into the reason why the residents of Good Hope Phase 3 (new scheme) cannot get potable water. I inquired with the Ministry of Housing and GWI to no avail. I got one of the turn key homes from the Ministry of Housing, and can’t get any running water. It’s beginning to be an expensive exercise to have to buy water on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. Like many Guyanese I expected access to potable water in neighbourhoods that you invest and paid substantial money to acquire land/property. I am kindly asking for someone in authority to do something urgent and give water to Phase 3 residents of Good Hope.
