Female teams Regal Champs and Trophy Stall Angels are through to the final of the Digital Technology/Chow Pow 10/10 Challenge Series after getting past 4R Lioness and Mike’s Wellwoman respectively on Sunday at the Uitvlugt Center Ground.
Batting first Regal reached 118-2 in their 10 overs to which 4R Lioness replied with 105-4. In the second semi-final, Trophy Stall Angels scored 111-4 in 10 overs and then reduced the opposition to 96-6 in their 10 overs.
In the male encounter, Superstar XI defeated Recharge by 21 runs to gain a spot in the final. Batting first Superstar made 126-8 in 10 overs while Recharge reached 105-9 in their 10 overs.
The highlight of the day’s play was between Wolf’s Warriors who romped to the final by trouncing Speedboat by 22 runs.
Batting first Wolf Warriors scored 115-9 from their allotted overs.
Set at 116 for a victory Speedboat reached 93 -9 in their 10 overs.
The final matches of the series will be play on Sunday at the Uitvlugt Centre Ground.
