Teenage labourer Akeem Booker was yesterday fined $50,000 with an alternative of spending six months in jail after he pleaded guilty to a simple larceny charge.
Booker, 18, of East Ruimveldt, appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, which heard that between April 1 and April 2, at East Ruimveldt, he broke and entered the dwelling house of Audrey Daniels and stole two belts, two caps, and a silver band,
