An open invitation from the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA) in association with the Private Sector Commission (PSC) has been extended to technician-type persons to participate in a number of fully sponsored training programmes in China.
According to a press release from the GMSA the courses which cover television and radio broadcasting, bamboo and edible mushroom technologies and environmentally-friendly fertilizer production, are scheduled to commence on the 6th and 15th May (bamboo technology & TV broadcasting), 17th July (radio broadcasting) and 15th October (fertilizer production).
The courses run from 42 to 56 days and are being conducted in Beijing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Fuzhou in China, the release said.

These courses which are conducted annually form part of the Chinese government’s strategies to contribute to the development of countries in the Caribbean region and other Third World countries, the release added.
