A Brazilian man was killed and another injured yesterday when a motor lorry and an ATV collided on a trail at Frenchman, Siparuni, Region Eight yesterday.
According to a police press release, at about 11 am the motor lorry and the unregistered ATV, which were travelling in opposite directions, collided on a turn along the trail at Frenchman, Siparuni.
Dead is Brazilian Dennis Perries, 37, who was the pillion rider of the ATV. Driver of the lorry, Brazilian Gerald Rusino, 37, sustained injuries and have been admitted to the Mackenzie Hospital.
Investigations are currently in progress.
