BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC- Opener Devon Smith and offspinner Shane Shillingford have topped the batting and bowling averages of the Regional Super50 Tournament which ended here on Sunday.
Smith, who scored one of three hundreds in the tournament, compiled 348 runs at an average of 58.00 from eight innings.
The Grenadian left handed batsman scored an undefeated 110 against Guyana in the third round, and three half-centuries.
Shillingford, the West Indies off-spinner, collected 17 wickets at 10.11 runs apiece from 60 overs in six matches.
He was one of six bowlers to capture five wickets or more in an innings during the tournament, when he snared 6-32 against Leeward Islands at the Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in Antigua.
Veteran wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh Jr finished with 14 dismissals, the most behind the stumps.
Kyle Corbin, captain of Combined Campuses and Colleges, and Smith ended with seven catches each.
Windwards won the tournament by defeating CCC in a one-sided final.
