Air Services Limited yesterday held its annual open day at the Ogle International Airport and gave participants the opportunity to have an aerial view of the capital.
Speaking at yesterday’s activity, Commercial Pilot Brittany Ali said that the Air Services Limited Flight Training School (ASLFTS) which started in 2003 had since produced 19 private pilots, three instrument rated pilots, and three commercial pilots.
She encouraged those in attendance to take up careers as pilots, which is costly but pays off within the first year of graduating.
Air Services Limited the parent company has a fleet of 24 aircraft which can also be used as a training resource when students advance to flying multi-engine and other types of aircraft.
After the presentation, the more than 40 people in attendance including members of the media were giving a 15 minute aerial tour of Georgetown.
