The murder trial of Al Wilson began with a voir dire (trial within a trial) in the High Court yesterday.
Wilson of Lot 34 Princes Street, Wortmanville, is on trial before Justice Brassington Reynolds in the High Court for the murder of Jamal Clarke on September 5, 2009.
In the trial yesterday three prosecution witnesses testified. The voir dire is expected to be completed today, and then the main trial will begin.
Wilson is represented by attorney Nigel Hughes while Diana Kaulessar and Natasha Backer are presenting the state’s case.
