The annual Mother and Daughter Pageant is billed for next Saturday at the National Cultural Centre and as usual will see competition and winners in three categories – junior, middle and senior.
According to a press release, the junior category caters for daughters 4 – 8 years old and their mothers; the middle category caters for daughters 9 – 14 and their mothers and the senior category will cater for those daughters 15 years and older and their mothers.
This is the 22nd year of the pageant and it’s being held under the theme ‘Love’s Showtime’.
According to Pageant Coordinator Sulan Fung, all of the contestants have been doing well with their training and already appear ready for the stage, the release said.
Competitors in the junior category are: Candy Byron and C’Jada, Donna Lewis-Isles and Linesha, Luani Lowe and Xaviera, Natisha Payne and Winesha and Oneca Neblett and Ariana.
In the middle category, the competitors are: Geneva Sami and Geanna, Hemoutie Rajkumar and Sarah, Lorraine Duke and Jennay, Natasha Caldeira and Nivea, Samantha Aaron and Bree, Sandra King-Lowe and Tiandra and Vaulda Welcome and Maria.Tickets are already on sale at the National Cultural Centre.
