A 17-year-old Brazilian was yesterday killed in Lethem after he intervened in an argument.
Police say that 17-year-old Billy Nascimento Da Silva of Bon Fim, Brazil, was fatally stabbed in his chest around 02:00hrs at Tabatinga Lethem, after he intervened in an argument involving three men.
It is uncertain how many times Da Silva was stabbed, and which of the three men perpetrated the act.
In a release the police stated that so far no one has yet been arrested in connection with the killing.
Investigations are ongoing.
