The Ministry of Public Works is bracing for another round of high tides which began yesterday and will go up to May 12.
In a notice in yesterday’s Guyana Chronicle, the ministry said that the highest tide of the period is expected to be on Thursday May 9, 2013 at 3.17 am at a height of 2.91M. The only newspaper these important notices are placed in is the state-owned Guyana Chronicle.
