At the Den Amstel ground, West Bank Demerara, East Coast unit Buxton United won a seven goal thriller four goals to three over West Bank Demerara outfit Uitvlugt Warriors. Michael Phyll opened the scoring for Buxton in the first minute while Marlon Brandis levelled proceeding for Uitvlugt in the ninth minute.
Buxton broke the resulting gridlock through a two goal burst from Colwin Barnwell and Keoma Sullivan in the sixteenth and eighteenth minutes. Brandis once again pulled one back before half time in the fortieth minute.
